Competence and innovation: Moretto at Plastpol 2024
Plastpol, one of the most important European events dedicated to the plastic processing industry, returns to Kielce from 21 to 24 May.
Moretto confirms his participation – Stand G-37 – presenting the most recent innovations dedicated to the sector focusing on energy efficiency, high technological content, great customization and sustainability.
Moretto has been present in Poland, in Częstochowa, since 2009 and since then it has been the protagonist of a progressive and constant growth, which has contributed to making the company one of the main reference points in the sector with the proposal of highly innovative and competitive solutions.
High precision in dosing
Moretto stands out for the widest range of dosers on the market and for the high technological content, that characterizes these machines, such as the exclusive double eyelid shutter device with a reaction speed of only 25 milliseconds. The DGM Gravix series, displayed at the Moretto stand, ensures the highest dosing precision, even in case of vibrations, and a complete production flexibility.
Built according to the constructive and technological criteria of the Gravix series and with a renewed design that improves the granule’s flow, the DGM 20 completes the Gravix range. It is specifically designed for micro dosing applications serving all plastic processors who need to dose very small percentages of material.
To complete the solutions dedicated to micro dosing, Moretto will showcase at the fair the DPK 8, which completes the range of loss-in-weight feeders for dosing small quantities of masterbatch or additives.
Automations for a proper drying
Drying is one of the Moretto core business, which has led the company to develop several cutting-edge solutions dedicated to its right application. At Plastpol will be showcased X Comb, the compact mini dryer designed to efficiently treat small quantities of hygroscopic technical polymers. It is suitable even for the most demanding sector, such as medical, optical and electronics.
At the heart of X Comb is the exclusive drying hopper OTX (Original Thermal eXchanger) by Moretto. Thanks to its patented geometry and unique thermodynamic properties, it significantly improves the plastic granules drying process by reducing the drying time of 40% compared to conventional systems. An innovation that ensures the uniform and consistent treatment of every single granule.
Compactness and ease of use are the key features that characterize Moretto's new CRX integrated mobile drying and conveying systems - CRX Comb and CRX Mobilux. They are equipped with all the essential automations to ensure proper dehumidification and can be moved where and when needed.
Moisture Meter, able to detect the polymer’s moisture content without the need of offline samplings, assure an accurate control of the drying process.
