Smart solutions for the plastics industry: Moretto’s expertise at Fakuma
Always synonymous with research and technological innovation, Moretto is a leading company in the development of automation systems for the plastics industry, confirmed by 171 international patents. This expertise, developed over 45 years in business, will be showcased in the form of exclusive technological innovations at the upcoming Fakuma trade fair.
Loadmatik – The advanced system for plastics material conveying
Loadmatik represents a revolution in the plastics material conveying. Loadmatik automatically recognises and applies the conveying parameters: once the source and destination are specified, the system independently calculates the parameters, regardless of the distance or quantity.
Loadmatik consists of three exclusive technologies:
- The smart server One Wire 6 Plus monitors and manages conveying parameters. By interacting with the system’s components, it automatically ensures maximum performance without the need for operator input.
- The X-Loader is an innovative receiver designed for next-generation conveying systems. It provides active support for the automatic detection of load values, recognising and adjusting system parameters in real time using integrated “Sentry+” technology.
- KruiseKontrol. A dynamic granule speed control system that actively manages operating pressures, adapting the material's conveying speed to actual operational needs.
Self-learning algorithms continuously analyse operating data such as granule speed, operating pressures, pipe emptying time and receiver loading level to manage the entire path of the granules.
At Fakuma the visitors will have the chance to experience first-hand the extraordinary efficiency of Loadmatik seeing a full-scale conveying system in action.
Deduster dust separator: technology for defect-free moulding
To prevent aesthetic and/or structural defects of plastic components, it is essential to prevent dust and residues from affecting the moulding process. To this end, Moretto has developed the new Deduster dust separator, which uses a combination of the Vortex effect, mechanical separation and centrifugal force to separate dust from granules before moulding. The Deduster is engineered to ensure material only comes into contact with stainless steel components, eliminating the risk of contamination. An integrated ioniser is also available, ensuring results that comply with the severe regulations of the medical and optical sectors.
Delphy – The manual manifold with RFID control
Thanks to stainless steel construction of the connectors, Delphy manual manifold guarantees safe, contamination-free transport. Delphy incorporates an RFID recognition system, which checks the correct source-to-destination connection every second. A system of coloured flashing LEDs assists the operator with configuration. This automation eliminates the risk of error, ensuring significant advantages in terms of traceability, verification and validation of the material.
X Comb dryer – Performance and continuous innovation
The super compact X Comb dryers’ range has been recently expanded with the introduction of four new models – from X Comb 17 to X Comb 20 – designed for guaranteeing high-quality dehumidification regardless of environmental conditions and processing techno polymers at production rates of up to 60 kg/h.
The new models are fully electric and guarantee:
- An ultra-compact footprint of just 0,6 mq.
- New functional and design innovation.
- High-quality performance.
Safe storage and always tracked materials
To preserve the physical properties of plastics, prevent contamination and guarantee a defect-free finished product, it is essential to act at the origin of the transformation process, i.e. to ensure proper storage. Moretto offers a complete range of storage solutions that ensure a safe and fully traceable workflow. Each batch is identified and monitored from arrival at the plant to the processing machine.
Mowis: the scalable and modular system supervisor
All Moretto systems can be connected to Mowis, the integrated, self-configuring supervising system that simplifies the management of complex system and provides an immediate overview of the plant status. Through Mowis, operators can monitor equipment status, track material usage and manage production batches in real time, as well as modify process parameters. The system records comprehensive historical data, schedules workflows, and generates real-time performance reports. Moreover, it supports bidirectional communication with existing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions via the standard OPC UA protocol. Mowis is built on modularity and scalability, and it can be extended over time by adding modules and implementing existing ones.
This is a preview of the new technologies that will be exposed at the Fakuma. The Moretto team looks forward to seeing you at the fair – Hall B3, Stand 3208 – to find the best solution for you.
