Thanks to its high precision, reliability and integration with AI, the gravimetric batch blender DGM GRAVIX series is setting new standards for dosing applications in the plastics processing industry. The range has been extended to include the DGM GRAVIX 20 and DGM GRAVIX 50 models, which are ideal for compact solutions in the medical, optical and electronic industries for productions of up to 132 lb/h.

DGM GRAVIX stands out for its stainless-steel hoppers, which can be removed without tools, and the hoppers functional design, which allows for the uniform descent of granules.

The double eyelid shutter device enables high levels of precision thanks to a reaction time of just 20 ms.

DGM Series Gravix blenders integrate advanced gravimetric technology into easy-to-use, multimaterial blending powerhouses. With polished stainless steel supply hoppers that may be readily removed for cleaning and material changes, to an air-tight mixing chamber, the DGM provides advanced user features for the easiest blending possible.

Patented ‘Double-Eyelid’ shutter valves on each supply hopper completely eliminate common metering problems and provide ultra-fast/ultra-accurate 25 ms action for extreme accuracy. The floating weigh bin is free of wires and hoses for the highest accuracy as well as easy removal for cleaning and inspection. The parabolic mixing chamber assures a homogenous mix with every batch and always drains completely to eliminate uneven batch compensation, common to other blenders.

The full color, icon navigated touchscreen control provides visual guidance to its operation and stores recipes for easy recall and the fastest set-up. Ethernet, RS 485, Modbus and USB communications are included for networking, printing and program storage/recall and the Gravix is MOWIS-ready, for supervisory control and monitoring.

DGM 900 – DGM 1000 – DGM 2000 are the largest blenders of the range for production up to 26,500 lb/h. The machines have been designed in particular for treating regrind scales and flakes. Free weighing hopper, double effect mixer, combinations up to 8 hoppers for direct dosing provide a comprehensive system that can treat up to 12 components. These models are provided with supporting frame fitted with fine adjustment fluidified suction probe.

They are equipped with an evolved touch screen interface for an easy and intuitive management of the machine and for recipes storage.

The patented double eyelid shutter device on the hoppers with 40 ms reaction speed guarantees a high precision for machines of these dimensions. The double-effect mixer guarantees a homogeneous mix. Different applications such as bridge-breaker, automatic sensor cleaning and dosing units for powders are available. The weighing hopper is free from any mechanical interference during the weighing cycle and immunity to vibrations. The GRAVIX weighs each component 100 times per second.

Each machine can employ nine different types of hoppers in order to obtain the most suitable configuration for any specific requirements and can be easily removable. Material flow rate and each batch are constantly monitored to ensure consistency.

DGM GRAVIX can be installed direct on the machine throat, on a frame on the floor or equipped with a special suction tank.

DGM GRAVIX is provided with a ETHERNET port, RS485 port for the MODBUS protocol and with a USB port for easy upload and download of data.
